PMAA invited to perform in Carnegie Hall!
The two groups of PMAA, Foster City Community Chorus and Heart & Soul, were invited to join other select adult choruses from across the country to perform on stage in Carnegie Hall, considered by many singers as the ultimate choral destination in the United States. On Monday, June 27, 2005, the chorus and Heart & Soul performed a "prelude concert" at 7:00 p.m. At 9:00 p.m., PMAA was part of a group of 280 singers who performed Handel's "Messiah" under the direction of Donald Neuen, and received several standing ovations from a very full house.

PMAA Holiday 2004 concert, "Bright Star Shining"
The PMAA's 13th annual holiday concert, Bright Star Shining, on December 4th and 5th, 3 p.m., at the Church of the Transfiguration, was a smashing success! The Foster City Community Chorus and Heart & Soul under Musical Director Gary Gober presented a festive concert with a diverse mix of music as well as audience participation on Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. If you missed this amazing concert, be sure to join us next season for more performances.

PMAA sang National Anthem at A's baseball game
The PMAA performed the National Anthem before the Oakland Athletics baseball game at the Network Associates Coliseum on July 25th, 2004. A group of 125 traveled to the Coliseum to see 60 PMAA singers sing the National Anthem for this televised game. PMAA has previously performed the National Anthem at a Giants game in 2003, which can you see by clicking on this link.

PMAA Performances at Dallas Choral Fireworks were a Blast!
The Foster City Community Chorus and Heart & Soul represented California at the "Choral Fireworks" festival in Dallas, Texas, from July 4 - 6, 2003. The PMAA joined other choruses in three events: participating in Richardson's July 4th "Fireworks in the Park" extravaganza, singing in a joint concert of Spanish music at Brookhaven College, and performing Haydn's "The Creation" oratorio under the direction of acclaimed conductor Donald Neuen in the impressive Meyerson Symphony Center.

The trip was tremendously rewarding, and we would like to share the experience with you. You can read, see, and hear more about the Dallas Choral Fireworks by click on this link.
